Why this work, and why me
Twenty years ago, life didn't just sit me on my bum. It broke me.
I snapped my femur, spontaneously, no accident, no warning. Around the same time, my marriage ended, and the business I'd helped build disappeared.
Seven months with no bone growth. Recovery that felt impossible some days. But the hardest thing to deal with wasn't the bone, the marriage, or the business it was the version of myself I'd built my whole identity around.
What came after wasn't a rebuild. It was a new build. I had to find out who I actually was, without the marriage, without the business, without my children beside me every day.
That search took everything I had. And it gave me everything I needed to do this work.
I carry that with me into every room I sit in now.
When someone's running on empty, or a partnership is quietly falling apart, I'm not guessing at what that feels like. I've lived it.
What my superpowers are
Amongst all the tools and real life experiences I bring with me most importantly a steadying presence.
Someone who reads people. Someone who makes you feel seen without judgment and then helps you see yourself clearly enough to lead differently.
